One Evening only!
 Bhrigha GypsiKelt is coming all the way from Portland to teach a 2
hour workshop in
Tribal Style Lead & Follow and Formations.
Wednesday May 21 7:30-9:30 pm
Join us for instruction in this fabulous improvisational style of
bellydance that draws from many different cultures to create this
modern twist on tradition. Students can connect with each other and
trust themselves and others in a safe environment. New fun formations
and the concepts of & practice in leading & following will be covered
so that dancers can use this to create interesting transitions between
the PURE choreographies, or their own choreographies. This workshop is
open to everyone - current, former, new and non- members, as well as
drummers! Rhythms
will also be explored and polished.
Location: Harwood-Watson Dance Studios
820 Lake Baldwin Lane, Orlando, FL 32803
(NOTE: Lake Baldwin Lane is the new street name - it is called Humphries Ave. on older maps - make sure you get directions!)
Cost: $10 members/non-members
Bhrigha GypsiKelt is certified by Paulette-Rees-Denis in the Gypsy
Caravan Tribal Style Beginning Level 1 & 2 Format. She is also a
professional musician with many recording credits and currently plays
with Shredd!, Mizna & the Gypsy C Remix Band. Bhrigha is donating her
time to help raise money for GO PURE's treasury. This money is used to
pay for rehearsal space and promotions. Please come join us!
GO PURE - Greater Orlando Public Urban Ritual Experiement - is the
Orlando branch of PURE, a non-profit, NY-based international dance
trope dedicated to bringing the spirit of peace and healing to the
streets through dance.
