Dandelion is a little cafe on Thornton that serves an organic vegetarian/vegan menu and loose teas. These teas are not your grocery store bagged teas! My personal favorite is sunshine daydreams. It has a wonderful, light taste that lives up to the name, and if you want it sweetened, a couple pumps of agave nectar make it even better. I pair that with a cup of the best chili I have ever eaten, which has an optional topping of organic or vegan cheese. Their fluffer nutter sandwich made with organic peanut butter and rice based fluff is a huge hit with my littlle ones. We pair that with a glass of hemp seed milk, which is smoother and more whole than soy milk. Their other offerings, such as a vegan kids cooking class, herb garden, and new and full moon drum circles (hoop time!!!!!) are integral to the sense of community there.
